About Cassidy

Cassidy is the sibling of a veteran and a compassionate, and caring clinician.

Education and Background

I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern currently completing my Masters of Science at the University of Texas. I am passionate about working with adults and supporting them as they navigate life’s many challenges, from stress and transitions to personal growth and healing. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sport Psychology from the University of Alabama and bring an athletic background that informs my interest in working with performance-based populations, including athletes, veterans, and active duty military.

Clinical Approach

My clinical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grounded in the belief that our thoughts about ourselves and the world around us play a powerful role in shaping our emotions and behaviors. I believe that meaningful progress begins with a strong, collaborative counseling relationship, and I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore, grow, and make lasting change. I am passionate about working with adults and performance populations who are navigating stress, life transitions, identity, and emotional wellness, and I am committed to helping clients tap into their strengths and move toward greater clarity and resilience.
