Kendra Petty is a Master’s-level intern pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Anthropology from Morgan State University.


Kendra works with children, adolescents, athlete’s, and military-connected families, supporting individuals and family systems navigating deployment-related stress, separation, reintegration, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Her work is primed by both professional training and lived experience with a clinical approach that is solution-focused and evidence-informed. She puts an emphasis on practical, future-oriented solutions, effective for various issues like anxiety, depression, and complex relationships.


In her future clinical work, Kendra plans to specialize in supporting individuals and families during major transitional periods, including athletes navigating career changes or identity shifts, military populations, and others experiencing significant life transitions.
