About Lesley
I am a dedicated and compassionate clinician who prioritizes the well-being of my clients. I strive to create a safe place where clients feel respected and heard to engage in meaningful self-reflection.
Education and Background
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern currently completing my Master of Science at the University of North Texas. I am deeply committed to supporting young adults as they navigate life complexities to foster personal growth and emotional healing. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Sociology from the University of North Texas. My academic background informs my holistic approach to counseling that integrates the mind-body connection, psychoeducation, and an understanding of social and cultural influences on mental health.
Clinical Approach
My clinical approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), guided by the belief that growth is an ongoing process and that we are all continually working towards our full potential. I am committed to creating a safe and affirming environment where clients can engage in honest self-exploration of their experiences, build resilience, and achieve lasting change. Your story and experiences are valued. Let’s partner together to explore the path that feels right for you.
